Final Project Proposal
By Elbert Christopher Larosa (1801442464)
For the final project, I will be working together with Matthew Brian Teguh Kharli. The e-commerce website that we will be working on is called “ME Drums”, which is a custom drum shop that will be selling stock series drum kits of our own brand, also giving the feature to let drummers order custom drums to us by filling in the forms (will be explained later on).
The features / interactions of the website will be explained based on the pages.
- There will be a Login button where customers and administrator can login. The user will be directed to different page with different interactions, depending on whether the user is a customer or an admin.
- There will be a Register button for the customer, where the customer will be inputting data such as the name, gender, email, phone number, address, etc.
As a user:
- Home page, where there is an introduction about the 2 services that we offer (series kits and custom kits) and explanations to help users understand the “flow” of our website.
- Series Drums menu, where the menu will be broken down into 3 pages. Each page will contain the descriptions, the specifications, and the pricing for our 3 stock series kits (1 page containing the information of 1 series kit). The users can see the series kits’ specifications, pricing, and they can order the kit from the page right away along with the delivery options (after they have registered all their data and logged in). As said before, we will be having 3 stock series kits, ranging from the affordable series kit to the high class series kit.
- Custom Drums page, where the user can order custom drum by inputting to the form the custom drum specifications that they want (such as the shell type, badge type, hardware options, number of wood ply, drum sizes, finishing type etc.). As they input their request, they can see the pricing for their custom drum request. The user can also input image(s) to send their drum finishing design or badge design.
- Gallery page, where the user can see the images of custom drums that we have made.
- Progress page, where the user can see their drum order’s progress. They can see what is the kit that they order, the estimated time of delivery (for series drum order) / of making and delivery (for custom drum order), and the estimated arrival date.
- Contact page, where the user can look for our customer service number, email, and hours of operation.
As an admin:
- Series Drums Order page, where the admin can see the name of the customer and the series kit name that the customer ordered.
- Custom Drums Order page, where the admin can see the name of the customer and the custom drum specifications.
